180SX Fender Flares

So you all know what I'm talking about, here's a link.
http://www.jspec.com/s13flares.html
Anyways, I was wondering what is the max tire size you can get on an S13 with these flares on. I've read that pulling or rolling the fenders allows for bigger tires and such, but wouldn't putting on these flares give off the same effect and add a bit of style? I personally like the look.

same effect yes, but when used properly (for their purpose) you're supposed to trim the part of the stock fender underneath that "flare" part to get wheel clearance. Some people just use those because their wheels are either too wide, or have the wreong offset. Personally I'd rather go with a full wide fender i.e. Chargespeed's 50mm wide fernder because it maks the whole cars lines just so much more curvy, whereas with those add-on flares... well, they look "add-on"

BTW these are for my car (S14's) for people looking at this thread, not yours Arctic

well if you go wit h a 50 mm flare you cna fit 2" more of wheel so that waould be 2" more of tire.... you do the math
