300z brakes help
i installed some 300z brakes on the front of my 97 240sx and put in a 300z mastercylinder while i was at it. i have blead the brakes many of times and they still dont want to work good. the pedal is really stiff and it kinda feels like there is no vacum to the brakebooster? im not sure what else i can try but it doesn't feel right. i have some autozone pads on there right now just for the install but am getting some better ones soon. any suggestions?
a better description of the problem would help.
I am assuming you're saying the brake pedal is extremely stiff (sort of like when you disconnect the vacuum line from the booster). If so I would start at the vacuum line.
Have you messed with the inline check valve on the vacuum line?
If so, make sure it's on the proper way. Arrow on the valve should be pointing towards the motor.
When installing your brake master cylinder, did you bench bleed?
You haven't dealt with a z32 brake swap problem until you've read my posts on this matter. NEVER AGAIN!

Air in the lines would result in a mushy pedal feel. But yeah, Bumnah has a good write up about these brakes. He might have covered your problem there.
