where do the parts come from for the conversion? i'm guess you need a nissan donor like a 300z or something?

also what would the lug spacing be changed to? does it go to 5x114?

i ask because i plan on doing this before i get wheels. if i can use 5x114's i can look at FD3S RX7 rims and ask for different offset.

 

yeah i would like to no what is all needed!!! i just bought some Z32 hus and need to no what i need to tell him to include with them so i can do the swap!!!!

 

For the rear all you need is the hub. For the front it of a S13, you can either get JDM S13 5 lug hubs and be set. Get S14 SE hubs, S14 spindle and S14 ball joint with LCA(you have to re-drillthe strut for a larger bolt), or buy 4 to 5 lug hubs from jspec http://jspec.com/4to5lughub.html (best option probably)

If you have a S14, all you need are the S14 SE hubs and thats it

 

so u cant use the Z32 hubs on the frotn of a S13???

 

i have a 89 240 and i want to do the 5 lug conversion and i'm still kinda confused about what i have to do also. from reading

GTO 4 to 5 Lug Hubs from Jspec
then for the rear i just need s14 se hubs

You can use the Z32 hubs, but I believe you need to use all those other parts. Not 100% sure because ive never done this, but pretty sure its the same thing as doing a S14 SE 5 lug conversion

 

Yea, well you also need the rotors and wheels and etc. but those are the basic guts you need

They sell the kit in Japan, it is quite costly. You also are going to have to change your rotors ect. ect. ect. I have had good luck with universal wheels and I have put too much money into my brake system to change the whole thing. I say stick with the 4 lug and save the headache!

er question soo the 5 lug on a 300zx will fit the 240 sx just fine?

 

ok i didnt want to start another thread so here is a question regarding 5 lug and more!!!!

if im using rear Z32 brakes and im using rear Z32 uprights, how will this work when i order coilovers etc.. are the bottome parts interchangeable(Z32 Fork style 240 other) or do i have to order Z32 rear suspension???????
does anyone know what i mean

IIRC, they are interchangeable and shouldnt havea problem.
