i believe they're sleeve type coilovers. In that case, its just height adjustable.. which isn't the greatest. that's simiilar to ground control.

cheap yes
can slam your car - yes
get what you pay for - yes

if you care about being slammed and don't care about ride quality then sleeves are good.

that being said, true coilovers are a must. height adjustablilty and damper adjustability is no question.

define "fairly cheap"

1. cheapest "coilovers" is ground control/arospeed/ebaysleeves + kyb/koni/stock shocks ($400-800)
2. second cheapest (depending on if you used kyb agx in the setup above) is probably megan racing / D2 / etc ($900 shipped or somewhere)
3. major brand entry level coilovers like tein SS...most in this category won't have pillowball mounts, damper adjust, or lower perch adjustment (ride height). (~$900+)
4. major brand mid level coilovers...most of these might come with pillowball mounts and have damper adjustment. most don't have low perch adjustment though. apex exv, tanabe ss pro, jic flta1 (~$1100+)
5. major brand top level coilovers. every thing on these ones, damper adjust, ride height, preload adjust, etc. can't go wrong with these. tein flex/super drift, tanabe DD, JIC FLTA2 (~$1500+)

that summary is just a poor guideline but it gives you an idea of what you're dealing with. some are exceptions to the rule and some features do come in the categories where i said it doesn't. and on top of that i didn't even go into monotube, twin tube, inverted, piston diameter, valving, etc. contact me to chat it up more in detail.
