Biggest rim size on stock suspension?

I am about to get new rims for my S13 (1993 Hatchback 240). I prefer to either get 18x8's or 18x9's on it but I have stock suspension and dont know exactly if it will fit. So I am asking what is the biggest and widest rim you could fit on my car with stock suspension?

You can fit a 20x14" wheel on your stock suspension.

If you start questioning the above statement, use the 'search' button and see if you find any info on "biggest wheel that fits".

I bet you find info.

I am not saying that you are wrong but are u sure that that wide or a wheel will fit on the front and back because on the front the suspension comes out alot farther than the back

you missed the point of l2aine's post (search!).
besides the dimensions of the rims, you need to consider the offset because that will ultimately determine if the rim is going to fit or not.

why fit big rims on stock suspension.

it will still look like ***!

save your money and buy coilovers.

then get wheels with good offsets.

raine is saying 14" wide fits fine on stock suspension... but u said nothing about fenders so ur fault. if you go 18" diameter you should get atleast a 9" wide wheel all around. imo 10" around and pull and roll fenders with a 0 offset.

Well I guess I am a big idiot for the way I worded my question. So for all the people who didnt think it through my question was, What is the widest rim u can fit on a completely stock suspension fenders and what ever S13? and I also apologize for the fact that I cant afford coilovers, considering the cheapest good ones you can get are 1100 to 1200 dollars. So I will just live with the fact that my car will look like *** when I get rims. And one more thing I am not an *** like this but when I ask a simple question like this and certain people be rude when they reply I dont see the point in being nice.

I ahve 16x8, +20... on stock suspension it fit great... with my drop I rubs the fenders sometimes on high speed bumps if I soften the dampening of my struts

I'm sure 9" wide 17" or 18" rims would fit great on stock suspension. (with a good offset)

edit: oh wait you said S13... nvm, i dunno the difference between the two cars in terms of wheel fitment

^ i too agree.
18" rims on stock suspension will look horrible

besides, for the cost of some nice wide 18s and tires, you'd be able to get a set of coilovers, or atleast spring/dampers.
dropping your car would provide more function than some bling bling rims.
