Well, thats odd.... Both of those sites list slotted or cross drilled. But, none of those were blanks like he originally stated.....

alright thanks a lot, those were nice and cheap. i didnt know blanks were just a reference to plain rotors. are there any vented rear rotors? on all the sites ive looked i havent been able to find any.

The 240sx rear rotors aren't thick enough to be vented.... You can find slotted/drilled, but none of them will be vented.

Cross drilled rotors are better for heat dissipation. For the money, I'd just use blanks in the rear because only about 20-25% of your braking is done there.

i heard that cross-drilled rotors were actually worse for heat dissipation, because when you drill them, you are taking away mass from the rotors, and how much material is in the rotors is important for how much heat they will hold. hmm...that wasn't very clear...basically what i'm trying to say is that the rotors will actually be hotter when they are drilled because there is less material in the rotor for the heat to occupy. also i heard that cross-drilled are more prone to cracking. slotted is the way to go. cross-drilled just look badass. correct me if i'm wrong.

yeah cross drilled rotors do look pretty sweet. and what you're saying is correct, there is actually less metal/whatever to absorb the heat. i read somewhere that slotted rotors increase brake fade?
