brembo rotors install

just wanted to post a few pics of my car when i got my brembo rotors installed. my car was sitting for 3 years and was extremely rusted when i got it, thus the rotors were completely shot. compare before and after on this one lol. this is when my car was extremely dirty too, unwashed after 3 years. theres a pic at the end after i got it cleaned up a bit.

not to rain on your parade but, since we're on the subject...

Is it just me, or do Brembo rotors rust faster than some other brands out there? IE: PowerSlot, Rotora, etc.

i have the same bremo rotors and theydo seem to rust a little faster then i thought they would but I was looking at some of the big brake kits and they put a anti rust agent on the roters to keep them from rusting were as bremo does not seem to do that

my mechanic, [who i have to say is strictly oem], who really knows his stuff but is a strictly oem guy told me to go with stock brakepads. he said if u go aftermarket u gotta worry about them squeaking and potentially eating at the rotors. i needed it on the road right away and didnt want to research these things so i just went oem.

just found out now about the rusting, that sucks, o well. hopefully they'll never look as bad as they did when i got them.

Hawk HPS pads are great. Much better stopping power than OEM, no dust, do squeaking, don't eat rotors.
