Camnber plates/arms...

does anyone know what the sizes are for camber plates/arms that you would need for a 1995 240sx se. I have Tein Springs with KYB agx adjustable struts. i called about the camber plates and they wanted to know what size bolts? does the bolt size mean the size to mount it, or for the adjustment. the person i spoke with had no clue about it. i'm lost... the inside of my back tires are bald. want to get it straight so my next set of tires aren't going to burn off.
thanks.

Since you mentioned the rear tire wear, I'm assuming you need rear alignment correction.

First of all, there are no camber plates for the rear. It would be useless as you can reposition the rear shock and it won't change your camber at all.

If they can't align the rear of your car with the factory rear camber bolt (check, it's there, on the inboard side of the rear upper arm) then you have 2 choices:

1) get some offset bushings (like from PDM) and have them pressed into the stock rear upper arm

2) buy a set of adjustable rear upper control arms. You can get decent ones for $150 on Ebay, or go for the brand name Cusco, Kazama, SPL ones for more.

BTW excessive toe angles wear tires more than bad camber - did you bother to get a 4-wheel alignment after you lowered the car?

camber prob.

as soon as i got the struts and springs on i got the car an alignment. i guess it's because it dropped it alot. i didn't know about the stock bolt that you could adjust. someone else has mentioned the offset bushings. where would you have something like that pressed in? Machine shop?
I also have been looking for aftermarket arms for the rear. the only thing is most of the shops around here do the alignments, to stock cars. half the people are redneck as hell and had a hard time getting my car on the lift to get it aligned. I need to find someone that might have a bit of a clue on what the heck they are doing? but, i have a lifetime alignment. so, whatever it takes.
thanks

Yes, the bushings have to be pressed in; a machine shop is the easiest way IMO to get it done.

The places that do alignments should know how to turn a freakin' wrench right? All you have to do is show them the RUCAS and say "this is for the rear camber" then show them the front bolts and say "this is for the front".

If they have no clue, I would go elsewhere
