cheaper wheel studs
So I find out that extended projectsilvia and nismo studs are upwards of $120 for a set of 50 or 60mm studs. I work at an O'reillys..I have a lot of free time last night. Time to hit the dorman wheel stud book.
I just have to run it by someone who knows more though. The stud we have is dorman PN 610-320, it's knurl diameter is 12.83mm and it's 41.5mm long. I found the closest choice to be dorman 610-409, however, it's knurl diameter is 12.9mm. 0.07mm difference..and bigger. I don't know much, but I'd say that's pretty close. This is a 56mm stud. Next issue though, the knurl spline things are about twice as long, meaning they need to be able to clear thru the rotor too probably, and this also may be a tight squeeze. Oh, also, they're 12x1.5 threads
Thoughts? These are $1.79 apiece...hell, my cost is under $21 for an entire set, so it'd be pretty neat if these would work just as well.
