which coilovers should I get????
Hey, I was wondering which company has the best set of coilovers I can get for the money. I was leaning torwards teinbut a friend told me that I was wasting my money going for the name brand stuff. Does anyone else think that I should stick with tein or should I go for the less expensive products if there are some. I mainly want coilovers so I don't get stuck with the wrong ride hieght when I decide to do some body work. If someone could just give me their opinions on this subject or if they know of any place that has a good deal I would appreciate it.

sorry it took me so long to reply, but mostly what I want to do is daily driving, and some drifting, and some track racing maybe. I really just need some type of suspension that is reliable, and I don't want to be afraid of throwing my car around corners. Something replaceble or something that won't need to be replaced. One more thing I was going to get some name brand stuff because I would like to start an online business sooner or later and maybe open a shop. So there you go. Teins just sound like they fit my needs. A simple yes or no to teins would be the answer I need.

For daily driving you are actually better off with a progressive rate spring. I believe some tein setups simulate this with a softer tender spring in addidtion to the main constant rate spring.
To each his own, but so far since I've owned my car I have put in 30k miles on the street and none on the track (despite plans and talk). If that ratio changes I'll think about a more track-oriented setup.

I heard that coilovers eliminate the camber problem, is this right? also I don't want to be stuck with a ride hieght that is bad for a body kit if and when I get one. Are the kyb shocks setup adjustable? thanx for your help.

Coilovers do not necessarilly fix the camber problem. If you get a set with upper camber plates then you will be able to adjust the fronts, but the rear is the side that suffers from really bad camber after lowering.
