cut springs

dose any1 have cut springs
how do they feel?
any cons in havein cut springs??

1) i don't and never will

2) they are very bouncy

3) don't do it. you could kill yourself. a fiend almost did in his civic.

on aftermarket shock its okay to cut alittle but stock no.

Buy some teins off ebay for $90 and save yourself hundards from not ****ing something up more.

1) Never have, never will
2) they feel like you had welded your suspension to the chasis
3) they are as performance efective as the coilovers from ebay

Cutting your springs effectively increases your spring rate proportional to the amount of spring you cut off. That means that once you trim more than a little bit, the springs get painfully stiff. If you MUST cut your springs, do it with a cutoff wheel, not a torch. The heat can take the temper out of the steel, making the springs go the other direction and get so soft that you're constantly smacking the bump stops.

well i already have sprotlines i jus wanted it lower
guess ill have to save for coilovers then
