Energy Suspension or Whiteline

Hey guys whats the difference between these two? PDM offers a whiteline bushings kit for around 300+ but Energy Suspensions has thier hyperflex kit for about 110 depending on where you get them from. I was just wondering why there is such a price difference. Are there big ups and downs between the two? Does one kit have more bushings than the other?

From what I can tell, the PDM kit doesn't give you sway bar bushings, but instead gives you subframe bushings. The rest is pretty much the same. You'd probably get more for your $ by going Energy + a set of subframe collars, however ther's nothing wrong with PDM stuff - it's good quality stuff

i have a 1991 and i'm going to be changing into kyb agx with s-tech once the weather gets good enough to work on the car.

I wanted to get new bushings since i'm getting new suspension. You think i REALLY need a bushings change?

I can't really answer that unless I drive your car

If your suspension isn't making funky noises and the ride feels "tight" still, then probably not. However, when you change your shocks and springs, take some time while the car is up and inspect all your bushings for any signs of wear, dryness, or brittleness.

Pay particular attention to the tension rod bushings - these bushings are usually the first to go. They're filled with gel and if you see any cracks or gel dripping out, it's time for new tension rod bushings.

i got the energy suspension bushings and sub frame collars. i like them for the money. i wouldnt by the whitelines due to the dollar versus performance ratio. that being its too many dollars for the amount of performance you gain. the extra 100+ you save can go towards your next upgrade.
