Has anybody else experienced this creaking?

In my s13, there is a distinct creaking coming from the front while I'm coming to a stop during braking. I'm not quite sure, but I think it happens when I press harder on the brakes, but it's not a squeaking sound like that of worn brakes. It sounds like its coming from the front suspension underneath the car or something. Anybody else experience this in their s13?

Thanks!

ummm, i have something similar, but i think mines on the rotor. There is pauses between the sounds under light braking. Sounds like a warped spot on my rotors.

Yeah, I got that same problem when I brake hard. I changed my rotors to slotted rotors and new pads also, but it still squeeks when I brake hard.

It could be your spring or the T/C rod.

I'm pretty sure it's your springs. My bros skyline does this. Does it make the sound when you go over bumps???

well, after another day of driving and trying to listen for the creaking, it's NOT when I press harder on the brakes--i think it just creaks whenever I'm slowing down.. but it doesn't sound like its the brakes, cuz brakes usually have a higher-pitched squeal... maybe the springs or tc rods? i'll look into those possibilites.. could it be the front swaybar endlinks? lower control arms? i am still running on stock suspesion...

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!
