HELP GUYS S13/S14 rear brake fitment

okay if you read my brake fluid story, you know I was losing brake fluid... now I know why - left rear caliper piston seal has a tear in it. I visited a couple junkyards looking for a replacement, but all I saw was three S13's and only one S14 (with the entire rear suspension taken already, including brakes)... can anyone tell me if S13 rear brake calipers will bolt onto an S14? I can't drive my car at all until I get this fixed and local shops want to charge me $400 to get both rear calipers replaced as a unit (they wont do seals, or only one side). So does anyone know if it'll work!?!?

Also, I'm like 99.9% sure on this, but there were no changes in rear brakes from 1995-1998, right? And does ABS/non ABS matter if you're just replacing the caliper?

I don't know if this will help. But is there a part # on the caliper it self? If yes you can compair the caliper # to see if they are the same. I search carparts.com for rear caliper without ABS for s13 and s14 and both car's caliper part # match. So If i am not wrong then both car's caliper should be the same. I hope this helps.

i could get you the part from nissan or aftermarket if you want to wait for it to be shiped,, it will be alot cheaper.... i see that you are in cali so it might take a week to get to you, but hey it would be worth wait to save lots of $$.

P.S. i know the rear aftermarket calipers for my s13 were $105 CDN tax inc. so the s14's shoulden't be much more. BUT that's if you want a new one (or two) my frind at nissan said that the caliper and bracket for the s13 were 150 or so (CDN) i'll check today on the s14's for you.
