Help, sway bar installation question?
Hello everyone,
I purchased an aftermarket front swaybar for my 1990 240sx. I removed the stock swaybar, but did not know that there was some modifications needed to install the aftermarket. So with that said and done I sent my car to my mechanic (He's an old timer, so he's not into performance cars). I explained to him my situation, and left the car in his hands. I returned back the the shop and my mechanic handed me a box of parts. I asked him "where are these from", he said he had to remove them in order to install the swaybar. So my question is... is it safe to have these parts removed?
I think they are the tension rod/bracket, but I may be wrong. I know it's hard without a picture, but he handed to me 2 rods and a triangular piece with machined holes.
greatly appreciated.

Don't take it personally. Learn from it.
As for the boys, lets not be like Zilvia. One flaming post is enough, we don't have to keep posting about how "stupid" the topic might be. If you don't like it, don't post and the thread will die. Post stupid things and the post will be bumped and it will go on and on.

I just orderd tien pillow ball tension rods, because one of mine snapped on a turn (damn cleveland and all of your salt, rust sucks) I was just wondering if they will work with the Ebay Nismo Power brace, since mine took a beating from a curb when my tension rods went out. I also bought tien tie rods and ends and i am thinking about a cusco sway bar to replace the stocker. Is it worth it?

cappagino I hope for your sake you were not directing the "retard" comment towards me.
I give a crap load of info on this forum, its annoying that you didnt leave pic's or actually know what you are talking about.
cleveland only the rear sway bar is worth it. The front is big enought.
