koni vs. agx

koni vs. agx used with ground controls, what you guys think? the price difference is minimal and unimportant.

I really don't know too many nissan guys with the koni's but they are suppose to be an excellent shock. there are several members with the agx's and they can give u some better insight.

BUT>>>>>>ever though about real coilovers, i.e. TEIN, Cusco, Zeal, Apex'.

Ground Control = 400
Konis/AGX= 500
Already about 900, coilovers 1000+,

I would get a set of the latter, just my opinion.

I know most of the Honda guys I know go with the KONIs.

Import made a good point. If the price difference between the two is minimal and you can wait a little longer giving yourself more time to save I would go with a full Coil Over kit.

Even though one of the best sleeve kits is the GC.

I have a set waiting to go into my Civic along with a set of KONI yellows.

apexi coilovers- $2 grand+
i know there are cheaper coilovers then the apexis but they are too expensive and ground controls will be just as good and i can get konis for $300.

wouldn't ground controls/konis almost be better because not only can you adjust the ride height but you can also adjust the damper stiffness, where as apexi coilovers only adjust the ride height

TEIN HA - 16 level dampening and Ride height adjustments.

I think it is the same with the World Sports.

are world sports good for autoX, because I heard that they are just show coils and not good for handling.

i actually like stan's ha's
they are pretty nice..
and i like tein...
in all honesty..
apexi doesnt strike me as a suspension manufacturer..
they are more power than suspension..
for suspension i would go with something that is meant solely for that..
ie cusco or tein or jic etc...
and with power mods..
dont go with apc or crap like that..
stick witht he tried and true
blitz 5 zigen apexi
etc...
