Question lowering springs from a focus to a 240sx?

i recently acquired a set of lowering springs for a focus from a friend that didn't want them who told me that they may fit on my 1989 240sx...i think they're lowering springs or are they sleeves, anyway they'll be a picture on the bottom anyway...he said that if the curb weight of both cars are similar, i might be able to use them...i found out that the difference in curb weight between my 240 and the focus is that the focus weighs about 100lbs. less than my 240...if anyone has done something like this or has any information regarding this...please reply thanks
