disable abs

does anyone know how to disable the abs on a 92 240?

can i just take the fuse out? i think the manual said its connected to something else but i cant remember or find the manual.

when i hit the brakes really really hard sometimes it will shut off on me for the rest of the drive but soon as i turn it off and on, its reset..... abs is a hazard when you have no where to turn, id rather stop and smoke tires then steer myself into the next available wall or car and listen to the abs work.

thanks

pull the fuse. if you want, get it checked out and figure out the problem. good thing about ABS is that if you go with larger brakes, it will automatically proportion the braking for you.
