Lowest Drop on Springs only
Lowest Drop on Springs only
Sup guys, I'm new to this forum and to the 240 world. I currently own a '00 Maxima and am happy with Nissan in general. Anyways, I recently picked up a s14 and am in the process oflightly modifying it. For now, just looking for lowering springs, since I can get a set of KYB's from a friend of mine for cheap. I've tried checking here in the suspension forum, as well as on the internet, but haven't been too successful. I know the Drop on Tein's is pretty mild (1.3" & .9"). Eibach Sportline's are (1.7" & 1.4"). Sprint's are (1.8" & 1.8"). Anybody know the drop on Tanabe's DF210's? I've had Tein S-Tech's in my Maxima and they were okay. Not the stiffest, but still quite comfortable. Are there others that I didn't mention that I should look into? Thanks in advance for the help.
check out this thread, about 18 posts into it....
Thanks for the quick response guys. Anybody have the Tanabe's (DF210) or know the actual drop on them? I went to their website, and they only show the listing for the Grip Feel springs. Also, if I were to go with the Tanabe DF210's or the Eibach Sportline's would there be any rubbing issues since I have a set of '04 G35 coupe wheels. These are 18x8 with a +30 offset.

Here's a pic of DF210 on an S14 (the red one, obviously) but he also had aftermarket shocks so it sit a tad higher than if you were to run DF210 with OEM shocks (not recommended in the first place):

and for reference, my car test fitting SEVENTEEN INCH Z33 wheels (17x7.5, 17x8). Note the 18-wheeler gap between the ground and the rear edge.

EDIT: my bad, huge pics hahaha
