ok my cars front end is makin a poping sound.. i checked everything to see if my k member is moving.. but it's not ..everything is tight.. but everytime i hit the brakes my car pops in the front.. i noticed a part of the actual chassis is coming separated but no wear marks on it from wiggling... so i'm wondering is the joints in my lower arm might be a cause of this problem?.. maybe someone has some experiance with a wierd noise like this..

 

i would guess a CV joint but to check if its your ball joints just take the knuckle off and look.

 

check your lower control arm, and your sway bar
there should be a bushing there by the mounting bolt, see what kind of condition its in....

i have the same issue with my camry....

 

I doubt its a CV joint when its the FRONT end that is popping. Have a competant mechanic scope things out. Your ball joints could cause popping, but so could sticking calipers....

 

i checked out the calipers everything seemed fine with them.. one of my sway bar links has a lil kink in it but i dont see how that would make my wheel pop back and forth.. i'mma get on that lower control arm.. i know a few junk yard cars i can probably get one off of .. thanks ppl
