new suspension company MAX
new suspension company MAX
i recently heard of MAX, a new (in the US at least) company that makes super dope ****. here is the info copy and pasted from a zilvia thread.
The suspension is $1000 for s13/s14/r32/r33. Key features: pillow ball uppers front AND REAR with top spring mount that allows unrestricted movement, Aggressive damping with the same damping range as 32 way systems but it only requires 8 clicks full hard to full soft. Replacement dampers are in stock and cost less than a tien rebuild (no down time). 10kg front 8kg rear are standard.
Super low ride height ability without having to preload the spring as Warren G will demonstrate on a daily basis.
RUCA with angle correction specifically designed for low ride height cars.
Camber arm, Toe rod, Traction Rod, Tension rod $180 per pair.
5x114.3 Wheel spacer (1 pair) 20mm $70, 25mm $80, 30mm $90
Subframe spacers $50
Aluminum Radiators for S13,14 with SR20 R32,33 RB25 $200
TUBE FIN (not cheap bar plate) FMIC kit for SR equipped S13, S14 $380
First fender roller for lowered cars! You dont have to drop the suspension to use this on your slammed ride. Better roller angle for flattening the lip. $200
this stuff looks extremely legit and a super great price. we will be trying the S13 coilovers on henry's S12, so we will keep you guys posted on how it performs. we also plan on buying spacers and suspension arms for my (soon to be purchased) S13, so we will be telling you guys how they perform. personally im pretty excited that a dope company like this has such cheap prices on what looks like quality stuff.

well to be exact, we are going to measure strut length at desired ride height, then decide whether to use S13 (shorter) or S14 (longer) coilovers. (im thinking S13 for obvious reasons) har har. but ultimately they are adjustable so we'll see.
i told henry, give me the coilovers, a little alone time with his car, a pack of cigarettes and 2 hours and it will be dope. please encourage him to make his car dope.
