Exclamation No way

I decided to get an estimate fo shocks and struts and they are trying to charge me 1000 plus dollas to get them from the manufacturer and this includes labor.

No way i am paying this much.

If anyone knows of any good affordable shocks and struts please let me know.

iono dude, gofor KYB i havent heard a bad thing about them.. and there like... 400~? and just find a local highschool that has an autoshop class, and ask the teacher if you can use his lifts, and do it your self, or even offer like... 50 bucks iono what autoshop teacher would turn down $50 just to use a lift and they dont have to do anything... just my thought

KYB AGX's are pretty damn good...put those together with Tein S Tech Springs or Eibach Pro Kit or Sportlines

go to the junkyard or ask someone who upgraded their shocks and springs for the stock shocks & springs, if you're not big into suspension get the stock springs from someone used, and get KYB gr2's, they are stock replacements. That would cost you a whole $400 shipped at the most.
If you want a good setup, go KYB AGX's, I LOVE mine. Then eibach or tein or some decent springs. Even that will be only ~600-650 shipped.

KYB AGX here ~$400.

I wouldn't go knocking on shop teacher's doors. $50 isn't worth the liability if you hurt yourself. Besides, no need for a lift on this job - but you will want to either buy or borrow a spring compressor.

Spring compressor only costs like 40 bucks at auto zone or something like that. DYI, not that hard.

For some reason my rear struts only would coast around $80 and my fronts ones cost like$200 and something. I was thinking about jus buying them myself on line and then paying to have them installed.

Brand does not matter, they jus need to be affordable and preform well.
