i'm lookin into upgrading my brakes, people talk alot about the z32 tt brakes, but they are hard to find and very expensive,

i've also heard some people talk about q45 brakes, has anyone actually done this though??

any help would be appreacited

 

I would think the Q45 upgrade would be just as expensive or more...

 

Phase 2 has the Q45 upgrade for I think $795 (all new parts).

PDM has the Z32 upgrade for I think $895 (all new parts).

IMO if you're gonna go through with it, do the Z32 upgrade.

well according to phase 2 , the z32 brakes aren't as hows this put uh... smooth? as the q45's, the z32's are more like an "on-off switch" ... i dont know i havent' driven on z32 or q45 brakes... but im probably going z32...

 

no go to www.ka24development.com theres a Q45 brake upgrade tech section, straight bolt on 240sx 2 piston sliding caliper

but then again Z32 have the super nice NISSAN writing on the side

i believe both have a 11" rotor but the z32 rotor is thicker, z32 comes in 28mm(?) or 30mm and the q45 come in 26mm

for calipers call you local auto store like lappens autozone and other places
