Researched to death...are coilovers worth the extra money for daily driver?
Besides the spring rates, what do you think makes the GP Sports GR4's or KTS's better than Tein Flex's? Do you mean in the fit and finish or in the actual functionality of the units? (just curious)
spring rates have nothing o do wih the qualiy of the product. but you can see the qualiy differance by looking at the welds and then on a shock dyno they do quite well also.
he flex are nice dont get me wrong i just dontlike the dampning on em. but if you can get em for $1000 go for it

Must not be that bad for you if your doing at DET swap though, lol. Good luck, that's a big investment. I'd do a KA-t instead (T3/T4+iron block=reliable fun
You swappin yourself or having it done at a shop?
I love the RB's, but I think it's best to leave them in Skylines. As for the CA's, they are great if you can source the parts when something breaks and can live with a somewhat peaky powerband. KA-t works for me (or will when I get the $$$!!!).
Those motors are great and all, but the US Spec 240 already has a boost-friendly iron block motor to work with, the KA24DE or KA24E. Just needs a little work (lower compression for DE, balanced bottom end for both) and a turbo and they can be quite potent.
With that said though, I think if it came down between the SR20DET and the CA18DET, I would choose the CA.
Iron Block > Aluminum Block
