holy $1800-ish

JDMxDrift 05-03-2006 12:08 AM

Yeah. I'd drop it for those....

motegineon 05-03-2006 12:33 AM

hmm explain?!? From my understanding its some sort of external dampener or something?

Levi SPL S14 05-03-2006 01:05 AM

its an external reservoir. for racing application.

so that the strut can perform at its best and not over heat.

waste of money.

JDMxDrift 05-03-2006 01:16 AM

I'm researching that right now. The only that i'm assuming is that the external resevior provides more technical adjustment by allowing adjustments to the compression and rebound separately. I'm assuming that because my dad's sandcar has external reseviors that allows for that adjustability.

Levi SPL S14 05-03-2006 07:18 PM

^ some coilovers i have seen also have the bound and rebound adjustment that are seperate and do not have the external reservoir.

For the most part its so that the strut does not lose its compression during hard racing.
