shocks/struts/springs combo

ok, in my 240 its pretty bumpy ride, like ill be going down the road, and ill feel alot of stuff, like ill go over a small bump and ill feel it , i am just wondering what i have to do to get that smoother ride, like in a new car, or if its even possible, also can i achieve it with lowering the car about 1.6 in the rear and 1.8 in the front

Its a 240sx. You're going to feel the bumps in the road.

If you lower it, you'll feel it a little bit more.

So, basically, if you want a smoother ride, buy a Lincoln....

Yah, and you don't believe what I'm saying? What kind of car are you use to driving?

Ok, if you want a smoother ride, here's what you do.

Sell your current wheels and tires and buy some 13x4.5" wheels. Throw some 185/70/13 S rated tires on that bish, and you're set. You get a smoother ride and you'll feel less.....

When you drive your car, sit on a few pillows and that should dampen the harsh vibration you are experiencing... lol.

Best you can do for that "luxo" ride is stock shocks, stock springs, and thick tires. If you still feel that it's bumpy, then you're in the wrong car. And you can forget about having it waterbed smooth if you wanna lower the car.
