Question spring rate

I'm shopping for a new suspension for the S13 89 Fastback. I need to know what is the ideal spring rate area to stay within for either springs or coilovers for a good ride and better handling. if i get springs they will be at least a 2" drop. If coils, it all depends on how low the car goes once i put my kit on

For predictable street use, you want progressive springs like the Eibach ProKits or the Whitelines.

You do not want to lower more than 2" unless you go with shortened dampers (I believe the Tein's have shorter bodies for this purpose). If you drop more than 2" on stock stroke dampers, the car will be dangerous on the street, unless you live where the roads are as smooth as a roadcourse.

And if the roads are that smooth, I want to know where you live, because I'm moving!

Hell, if i can find those streets, Im moving too.

But it will be for street use. and i was thinking about Tein springs for it. I most likely will be getting either KYB GR2 or AGX struts for it.
