ok im getting some of these for christmas http://www.optionimports.com/teslospfor952.html

the reason im getting these instead of coilovers is becouse im 14 and dont have a job so there you go
also is there anything elese i should use with these
help would be highly appreciated

also have you all heard anything bad about them?
hows the ride?
do know of any that are better?
and could i still put 18's under there?

silviaks2nr 09-10-2006 05:50 PM

you can get those springs alot cheaper on ebay. do you have aftermarket shocks? 18s will be no problem as long they are correct width/offset and wont rub

240's"r"us 09-10-2006 05:56 PM

no i have stock shocks as of now should i get aftermarket ones?
and rim sizes will be 18x9+20 so i know theyll be good

i have the Tein S Tech springs on my car with the KYB AGX shocks....best 500 i spent on suspension....but they def arent coilovers

I can say the exact same thing. :D

YES! you should get new shocks with the springs, from what i've heard the Tein S techs are a bit soft. odds are if you jsut change the springs you wont feel much of a differnce.

I suggest getting a bigger sway bar for the rear and soem strut bars aswell.

would you recomend getting ajustable damping or not?

motegineon 09-10-2006 08:04 PM

kyb agx ftw, dampening would be nice, or save a little more and buy coilovers, just to let you know the drop isnt much on the stechs and ive heard they ride pretty soft..get some rsr's or eibach or something if you insist on springs..

silviaks2nr 09-10-2006 08:34 PM

if you get agx keep them all the way stiff, they last longer ;)

You joking? :dunno:

I have mine on real stiff and lets just say the passangers usally don't care for it too much

silviaks2nr 09-11-2006 07:23 AM

dead serious. there is more travel with it on a softer setting so more heat and friction

Ya, I was told that if you do a drop greater then 1.2" there not ment for handling that either. That all makes sence though.

Just curious what does everyone have there setup at? I use 2 in the front then 8 on the rears.
