tein s-tech lowering springs
ok im getting some of these for christmas http://www.optionimports.com/teslospfor952.html
im wondering if this price is for front and rear or just a pair the reason im getting these instead of coilovers is becouse im 14 and dont have a job so there you go also is there anything elese i should use with these help would be highly appreciated |
also have you all heard anything bad about them?
hows the ride? do know of any that are better? and could i still put 18's under there? |
you can get those springs alot cheaper on ebay. do you have aftermarket shocks? 18s will be no problem as long they are correct width/offset and wont rub
|
no i have stock shocks as of now should i get aftermarket ones?
and rim sizes will be 18x9+20 so i know theyll be good |
i have the Tein S Tech springs on my car with the KYB AGX shocks....best 500 i spent on suspension....but they def arent coilovers
|
do you think i should get new shocks as well?
to the above poster how does it ride |

I suggest getting a bigger sway bar for the rear and soem strut bars aswell. |
ok i have found them in a package for the s13 but not s14 any help people?

ebay.com
froogle.com summitracing.com Should have it. |
would you recomend getting ajustable damping or not?
|
kyb agx ftw, dampening would be nice, or save a little more and buy coilovers, just to let you know the drop isnt much on the stechs and ive heard they ride pretty soft..get some rsr's or eibach or something if you insist on springs..
|
if you get agx keep them all the way stiff, they last longer ;)

dead serious. there is more travel with it on a softer setting so more heat and friction
