three wheelin' s14
so just picked up my zenki today. it was cheap, but it needs work. when looking at it, i noticed the driver's back was higher than all three corners. thought previous owner did something. saw that all three corners were an unknown spring brand, but red. rear drivers looked stock (dont check out cars at nite ppl ) brought it back home shined a light and noticed that the spring was red also, but the shock cartridge/insert was FULLY decompressed... ... huh?... what happened? i can't come up with anything besides lousy install. any suggestions?
ps im definitely replacing it with coilovers, but i just want to know if it's still driveable and just want to know for my own sake!...what brand are red anyways? tia

it looks a little higher than stock: 4-5 fingers, while all three corners are 1-1.5 fingers. i was kinda thinking it was the install too, but what? i mean, the springs in and seated. upper perch is bolted. the shock...what could possibly go wrong? the gland nut has to be tight in order to drive...so what's up?...thinkin about tearing it apart after i recover from my surgery. any help figuring this out would be great

those cheapo Dropzone springs are red too, but not as dark a red as Eibach...
I dunno - but 4-finger gap on one corner compared to 1-1.5 on the other three seems way way off.
Like LandHo said, pull them off by pairs (rear pair, then front pair) and check the install.
