Tire suggestion

I'm currently considering getting some falken azentis sport or nitto 555R's for daily driving. I need a tire that lasts at least 15k miles since this is a daily driven car but I'm gonna need alot of traction for my setup. Which would be better for a high powered RB26 240? Any other tires that would be worth looking at? I also plan on running these tires with 17x9 in the front and 17x10 in the back. All suggestions are welcome.

Ok heres the deal.....I have a 1990 rb26 240sx that will be putting out around 500+ on pump and 700+ on race gas. It's gotta be broken in on crappy tires most likely because I get it back soon. It put out 585rwhp on 24psi so it has to go back and i'll be most likely putting out that much on pump gas from what the dyno guy said since I have a couple goodiez coming in soon. I just want some tires that will get me some descent traction and last at least 15k-20k miles cuz I dont wanna buy tires every other month. I do know I'll go threw quite a few more tires than your usual 240 though. I do plan on getting some wide volks though since I wanna put ET streets or slicks on it. And for anyone that says BS.....I'll have pics and stats for you all soon. Oh and what offset would you guys recommend for 17x9 and 17x10 volks? I do have the 5 lug conversion and front r32 calipers with 300zx brembo drilled rotors but they arent on the car yet. So what tire would guys recommend for my setup? Oh btw hey hyjnx did you still want that r32 gauge cluster?

Some volk GT-7s would work great probably. For the offset...id try to stay around 20 or lower, you know ur probably ganna have to roll/flare your fenders out? And just make sure that the rims you get can clear big brakes. I all ready suggested tires up there ^ and for size...245s in the front and 255s in the rear?? And yea i still do want the cluster, been meaning to get back to you. Sorry been a lil lazy for the past week or 2, but if you can hold it for me for a lil more ill make sure to send the money order ASAP. o0h yea, check out HRE wheels, they have some wheels you might wanna look at.

555r's will wear out REALLY quick.. I had a pair up front for my old car (FF) and I thought I could drive with them on regular streets, but after a few weeks I noticed how they were wearing out really quick compared to my rear tires (Yokohama AVS Sports). Just some user info here

Thx for the advice.....I'm thinking about using Toyo RA-1's as daily drivers since I can get them cheap. I've heard some people getting 15k miles out of them but I doubt I would get that much out of them with my car. I should have my car back soon with pics.

The old reliable Dunlop SP Sport 9000's used to last a long time on my old car and they gripped pretty damn good depending on tire pressure

michelin pilot sports are pretty good. my freind has a 476RWHP Rx-7 and they are they only tires he ever buys. he is hard on those tires too, and they stick like mad and have treated him well as far as mileage go. the only downside is they are quite expensive.

volk GT-7's are the hotness BTW

thats funny you mentioned GT-7's. I just got a set off ebay brand new for $1325. That includes free shipping, any tires, and any size. Cant beat that.
