why?

Ok, so, I'm not new to cars at all, been around cars since forever. But one thing I'm not sure about is why are more expensive wheels better? I mean, my guess is that they are stronger, and made of better quality material, but how often does a wheel really break?

sorry, i had to say it... yes, it's quality of materials and manufactoring process... forged wheels, alloys, size, looks all play a part in this. IMO they look better too, your car needs wheels to move, so i'd spend my money on a good company, and llok good at the same time.

all wheels can bend, just depends how hard you hit and what you hit

No wonder the world sucks, look what God wastes his time with.... The way I see it; light weight + strength + quality finish = $$$

I'm a good driver....I dont hit things. I mean...PLUS...if I pay less, then when it does bend, then I can replace it easier and I think a more expensive wheel would bend just the same. And I have to disagree with that last post, I've actually seen really nice pep-boys wheels lol.

You dont have to hit anything to bend a rim.

With that said you should jump off a cliff. If you wanna go the cheap and dumb route go right ahead. Most of those "nice" pepboy wheels are made in china where the quality control sucks ***.

Yes some japanese wheels are made in taiwan but they have better factories and better Q.C.

It will cost you more in the long run if you buy cheap wheels that may break for no reason.

Remember in this game you get what you pay for.

woah dude take a chill pill, thats why I made this post, to find out WHY...hence the title. But thanks for the rest of the comment. Ok, so its better to go with a more expensive wheel because they're better quality, wont bend, lighter, and better material.

Why are some condoms more expensive than others?

If you buy the cheap ****, then you're most likely going to have problems. 9 Months later, Jesus comes along...and no one want an accidental kid.

The point is, They're not expensive because they want to, they are expensive because they need to be.
