will they fit?

This is a dumb question, I know, but I am totally clueless about wheels. A guy offered me a set of Motegi MR7's with tires for $200, and he lives about half an hour from me so I would just go pick them up. I was wondering though, if these will fit my car? (89 hatch) Sorry for such a dumb question.... Oh....and do they come in different offsets? What kind of offset should I look for?

I looked them up, and it says they are 4x100 and 4x114.3, but it also says they're for front wheel drive cars. And what is offset anyways? I hear about it but dont know what it is.

offset is probly 40, 42, or 48, standard for motegi fwd wheels. good price if you want some wheels to mess around on, but if you're going for looks i would not take the offer

I'm more or less going for "I want to pass inspection" lol. But with this deal, I'd pass inspection, and have a decent set of rims and tires, even with an odd offset lol. Maybe I'll be cool and put slicks on them for the track!
