240 exhaust ques.

This might be a noob ques but, anyway I want to swap out my KA24 for an sr20. Now the ques, I was wondering if shopping for an exhaust mattered if it was a KA or an SR? Now I know that a downpipe cant be purchased(thats obvious) but when I shop on the web some exhausts dont state for sr20 or ka, while others say "for sr20" or "turbo only". Whats the deal with that??

Turbo only usually means it's running 3" piping, so it isn't the best for N/A applications. Just buy the right exhaust for the chassis and you will be set.

i think the gt spec comes in three piping diameters 75, 85, and 95mm, so as hyjnx said for an sr swap go for 85mm (about 3 inch) i'm not really sure about 95 mm piping, thats almost 4 inch piping

unless your going to be boosting a lot, 95 is overkill. 85 will be plenty, Gt spec will be good for you

prob beef up the internals, greddy intake manifold, turbo kit, fuel system, basically a fully built drift motor.
