What are the differences between a blowoff valve and wastegate?
I know they both relieve pressure. do i need both?
and if yes can someone please tell me a bit more about this two parts.

to make it short the bov releases pressure after the compressor and before the throttle body. thats what makes the PSSSSSSSTTTT sound associated with turbos. the waste gate diverts exhaust gas around the turbo so the boost doesn't keep rising with rpm.
howstuffworks has a lot of good information there. look around and my might learn something new.
