Bosch bov on the nsport turbokit
hey, i couldn't find any articles online and on this site about the cheap bosch bov and how it sounds and how well it performs. The only input i get is from the nsport.com site because their turbo kits come with that particular bov. I want to get the nsport turbokit stage 1 but i'm just curious about the bosch bov . i know its prob not as cool as those whistling hks's and those loud type-s's.
But for what its worth (around maybe 50 dollars or less) i'm worried if its unreliable? anyone care to put in their two cents about it? ..or if anyone has that hehe..im wondering if you upgraded to a better bov?
From what i see in the picture of the nsport turbo kit ...i dont think i can pick out where the flange is where you place the bosch bov on...
thank you for the help for those who respond.

ahh jeez..i forgot to add...
I might plan to increase boost later on when i get the kit and wondering if it still will be reliable?
I think the wastegate spring is set at 7psi for the kit...so hopefully that lil cheap bosch bov can take a lil more boost

Its actually not a BOV. Its a recirculating valve. They use those recirculating valves stock on porsche 911 turbos as well as many audis. They are prone to leaking under higher boost but this can be cured by crushing the top on them. That is, if it has the meteal top. The ones I saw on the porsche were all plastic and you could push the valve down with your finger. You can pick them up for like $25.
