BOV Mounting Location?

I have a S14 SR20det and i'm putting a fmic on it, but i need to pic a spot for my HKS SSQV BOV. Most of the SR20det s that I see have the BOV located on the hot pipe, but ive heard that the closer to the throtte body the BOV is, the better it is for the car (on the cold pipe). Any help would be appreciated.

i have heard both arguemnts...i personally have mine mounted on the hot pipe. i got my hot pip from enjuku racing with the BOV. having it closer to the throttle body gives you the opprotunity to run a recirculating kit and have it be more efficient.

a lot of people will tell you that the hks ssqv bov will make your call stall too. thats not true. my cae has never stalled because of the bov

as of now mine is on the hot pipe..but once I get a FMIC it'll be in the cold side.

why? Cause it's "better" that way.
