I'm looking into buying a new blow off valve and id like to find somewere i could find a place to download the blow off valve sound. I'm looking into the blitz bov.

 

just listen to fast and the furious a few times. those are pretty much what they sound like. some are louder (HKS) and some aren't as loud. but anything from Blitz i would recommend.

 

actually, the blow off valves in the new fast and furious are modeled after the TurboXS style bov. The older movie has bov's modeled after the Greddy Type-S. Greddy Type-R's, the older Blitz Super Sound, and the 2G HKS bov's dont sound anything like the ones in fast and furious. My HKS bov sounds nothing like any of those blow off valves. The HKS SSQV doesnt sound like those either. So anyone else have somewhere I can download bov sounds?

 

the sound differs from car to car, it would not sound the same. I had a place where they had a few BOV sound clips but i cant find it nemore

 

I have sound clips and video clips of Apex'i, Blitz, Greddy type s and r, HKS, and XS, hell I even have exhaust clips too. Right now I can't remember where I got them all, but if you want them e-mailed or somethin let me know.

I assume the blitz is the double drive and the HKS is the SSQV?

 

Sent you the clips. Yes it's the HKS SSQV and I'm pretty positive the Blitz is a double drive. As for the exhaust clips I have Yashio Factory, 5 Zigen , Bee R, Fujitsubo, Apex'i N1 Duals, and the Blitz Nur spec. They're all on various SR's and KA's.....

Can you run the Greddy Type R on low boost applications? It sounds AWSOME!

!!!!!!!!! Does anyone have sound clips of this thing?? As I understand its actuually supposed to "growl" really loud instead of the normal high pitched whistling sound.

 

im thinking of getting a nport turbo kit for my 97 240 and they us e a bosch bov, that recycles the exces back into the intake tube, doe anybody know if ill hear the bov or if its going to be very quiet?
