I'm new to the 240s, but I had a tsi talon before so turbos aren't new to me. I was wondering instead of buying one of thoughs 3 thousand dollar kits. I just make one, but i have a few questions. First here is a quick list of what you need tell me what i'm missing. turbo manifold (need to to know a good one to buy) t3/t4 turbo (if their is a better one than tell me? with an interal wastegate. intercooler with the pipes and bov. oil lines and coolant lines if its watercooled (my question for thoughs is, were to I tap the motor for the oil and coolant if nessary) like do i just tap it into the oil pan (my only question is how does the oil get to the turbo with just line their, does the turbo just suck it up their or do i need a pump of some sort) I would imagine larger injectors, but I guess not right away since i'm only pushing 8 psi. custom downpipe to 2 1/2 inch exhaust. Intake from the turbo. Also what kind of fuel management do I need ( possibly the least expensive or at least not a whole lot of money)? And the regular boost controller, boost guage. Anything else? And mostly how to tap the oil lines for the turbo?

 

You will need an oil pump to get oil to the turbo. Lucky, every car in the world has one. Just tap the line going to your oil pressure sending unit with a T and send a braided line over to the turbo.
