I just ordered a greddy EGT and i was wondering where the best place to put the probe is. Some people say to put it in the first runner but others say mount it on the collector to get an average. The only thing i see wrong is that the average temp will be incorrect if a cylinder runs lean like what happeneds on the WRX.

BTW its a sr20det engine.

put it at the collector forward kinda.

set the read 1 and 2.
