I prefer the GReddy E-manage. It is a superior tuning tool to the SAFC II/SAFR II, has more options, and is very well priced. It has alot of functions including being able to alter timing and fuel maps. About as close to a full standalone with 1/3 the cost.

There's AEM EMS coming out. About 1500 bucks, but full standalone and plug and play compatibility. Basemaps from AEM for anything you got in your car. You aslo got to remember to get it tuned for your car specifically though. That means time on the dyno.

Good luck finding the software... I doubt you can even get any info on what JWT is using, plus reprogramming an ECU isn't a simple DIY thing.

LOL Kundan will never listen to us ROFL

You can't get what you want for the price you're expecting man. Plus if you try to shortcut some component, the first problem you'll have will be that weakest link... and just as an example, if that weakest part happens to be fuel management, then you'll end up with a blown engine that might cost $2000 or more to fix; You could have saved that $2000 if only you opted to get an ECU programmed by some company who knows what they're doing for $700.

$700 now or play with your stuff and pay $2k+ later?

But like I said, Kundan won't listen to me/us. He waits until he here's someone say something that agrees with his idea or makes it more feasable

haha ok yea you guys are probably right... but i was just curious as to why it would cost 700 bucks for someone to connect my ecu to a computer and program something with a software.... most of that 700 is for the knowledge i bet... so i ll just look into e manage or s afc or something like that...

They don't just connect your ECU to a computer. They moniter how your car responds to those changes and what changes need to be made where and such. It's not plug and play. It's plug, see what needs to be changed, see if it works, if it doesn't, change it again, if it work, then play.
