fully built sr20 vs fully built ka24det
fully built sr20 vs fully built ka24det
both built to the hilt what would most likely come out on top?
Edit: add the vg30dett to this

yea but the thing is that they weight way to much and will mess up the ratio with our cars, if yu want to go straight yea it would be nice but as far as turning you will how mad oversteer(i think maybe over-steer) and a fully buid ka will map the floor with a somewhat built sr as the old saying goes no replacement for displacement.......
VG30dett=weight, supercramped engine bay, high horsepower, low rpm
SR20DET=lightweight, high horsepower, high rpm
KA24DE(T)=middleweight, high horsepower, higher torque, mid-rpm
IMO, id go with the KA24DET because not many really build it to its potential and it has a great torque curve. Plus its bulletproof due to its truck haritage.

there is this fun thing called corner weigting your car... the vg doesnt weigh that much more either. i dont hear you boys complaing about the weight balance of the 350z at all with its 53.5/46.5 weight ratio.... and n drifting if thats what you are doing a bit mor emass up front will help you out a ton.
it wil rev fairly high since it has a good bore to stroke ratio and a v6 is far more balanced than a I4...
the engine bay would be cramped but some custom work can fix that.
it is far from bullet proof... the KA and its forefathers are cheaply designed with many flaws

there is an internal kit plus rods and pistons though that make it bulletproof.
you can't really compare the vg30dett to the sr20det and ka24de... for one it's a v6 and it's twin turbo... others are inline 4 with single turbo, i mean it's kinda obvious IMO... i'm pretty sure a fully built ka24de would beat a sr20det at the track. but i'm not sure, guess you'd have to find the two best build engines, and race em...

Out....
