garrett t4 too big??

I was first going to get the same as everyone else and get a t3/t4 then a friend said you have a 2.4l that should be big enough for a t4, you should get that. So i checked it out and i found one for $424 shipped and thats actually a better price than a t3/t4. It is a garrett t04b it is an s-trim, t4, .96 a/r and is capable of 350hp. I will be running on stock internals for a bit but I just want to make sure this turbo is not too big for the 2.4l. I have done some research but havent gotten any good answers. Thanks, Jason

i think you can use that turbo... but its gonna be very laggy, that's a big *** turbo... you can buy an aftermarket ecu, or get the stock ecu tuned for the new injectors and boost that you'll have. I wouldnt run a turbo like that on stock internals for very long imo
