Greddy EManage?

When I order the E Manage, is the main headunit all I need? Whats with all these harnesses? Do I need them? I plan On getting the stage 2 turbo boost designs kit. But I see the e manage sells for so many different prices. Can someone help me on this?

A friend of mine got a Apexi Power FC for his R33 GTR Skyline and loves it, he opted for it instead of the EMS and personally I would too...it beats having to tote your laptop around (but the computer in the passenger seat is kinda pimp) just to tune your ECU. jm2c

Just like with any engine managment there is options/upgrades. You just have to find, research and pick which ones you need and which ones are a waste of money. No need in buying anything your not going to use. But I am with the person that picked the power fc. A very good unit and has alot of abillity for the $$$. It is what I am going to be running very soon. The AEM EMS has just gotten way too overpriced. Just my $.02.

Are you going KA-t or sr20det?

If I am not mistaken the apex unit only works properly with the sr20. I could be wrong but the app chart reffs red top/black top, refers to the 180sx and silvia (no mention of 240sx) and all of them say after change or minor change. With the Apex if your car doesn't have a preprogramed map from APEX it won't work with the car.

The Greddy unit isn't a direct replacement but works well for KA-T. What harnesses you need depends on how far you want to go.

As far as turbo kits, the only problems with boost designs i have come across are shipping issues. I have never seen the quaity of the product questioned. (I have no affiliation nor do I own the product).

www.phatka-t.com has a beast of a 240 might want to check them out. (I have no affiliation nor do I own the product)

Also check out http://www.jimwolftechnology.co(I have no affiliation nor do I own the product)

Have a good one.

E-Manage is a great tool, I have it. Costs more $$, so most people do otherwise. . but you can edit and program and display everything on your laptop and edit it. You'll want the additional harnesses and the software and such as well. . .

there's a yahoo forum on E-manage as well

I think it really depends on your set-up and horsepower goals.
