greddy hotpipe/coldpipe upgrade?

I just picked up a sr20 swap still using the stock s13 intercooler and piping. Anybody have experience with the greddy piping upgrade? I saw it selling for 100 bucks, don't really plan on upgrading the stock turbo anytime soon. Do most people just upgrade straight to a FMIC?

Wondering if anybody has this and if it makes a difference.

^ ya most people upgrade to FMIC.

Makes a small difference piping is bigger. The pic you have is RB25.

oh, now that you mention it. .. sorry about that. I just took the pic off the product page.. ..i guess the site was just using a generic one for all greddy pipe examples.

I'd just go straight for a FMIC. Even though you have a stock turbo.

This way when you do decide to upgrade your turbo, you don't have to worry about cooling it.

Hrmm, I wasn't sure if I had to go and get new piping again when I upgrade the turbo in the future so I didn't wanna go and get an FMIC and then later on find out that I need new plumbing.

I am new to the turbo world, my last car was supercharged, so the intercooler was set up on the intake side.

The intercooler would not effect the turbo in a bad way at all, in fact it would prolong the life of the turbo. The only purpose the intercooler serves is to cool the incoming air from the turbo to the intake manifold, thats it.
