Question Greddy Kit vs. Custom

I was wondering if it would be beneficial to buy the Greddy kit knowing that it's put together well with quality parts that fit, or to have a shop (good reputation) custom fab one for you. I'm looking for ~300-400 whp. I only considered the Greddy kit because I plan on forging all internals and raising the boost up to ~15 daily. I know that the 20G the kit comes with can push 450 hp. Thanks for your input guys.

I think piecing together your own kit will be cheaper if you shop and hunt for quality products.

I agree, but I found the Greddy kit (w/o FMIC) for $2500 and I figured that since the kit is pretty cheap and built well, should I just get it and find a custom IC? Also, do you think the manifold that the kit comes with (cast) is better than a tubular one (like the kit says)?

PS- I'm already selling going to sell the 370cc injectors for some 550s.

what are you power goals?

EDIT: Nevermind. I had a brain fart and didn't read your first post again.

if your budget allows, go for the kit and buy an fmic to fit. It's nice to have everything you need in one shot.

on the other hand, if your budget is a little tight, build your own kit, but make sure you have a check list of EVERYTHING you need.

I can guarantee if you piece it together you will spend less money.

As far as cast or tubular goes, tubular flows better, but IMO not necessary for a street application. Sure does look perrty though.
