only if you have bigger injectors (and, or) a bigger maf for a turbo then what your ecu is programed for.

you learn quick

hes right... unless you are running bigger injectors, bigger turbo, z32 maf, or other maf that your ecu isnt tuned for, then you dont need it.

It would help tremendously if you told us what your setup was...

stock what? what car, what engine, turbo, internal, or external wastegate and boost. if your car is stock sr-t or ca-t then you shouldnt need a safc2. you should have the ecu for that engine. ka doesnt come with a turbo. and what is it that your car is doing? you can still get a safc2 for fine tuning, and it looks cool, and you can use it for future upgrades. but if the car is stock you shouldnt need one. but we need more info to help. cant tell you anything if all we know that you have a car with a turbo.

because it dies doesnt mean u need the tuning, there are alot of things that could be wrong, make sure all vaccum lines are hooked up correctly, or your distributor could be off a couple teeth

yea... buying a safc is most likey not gonna solve your problem then. Sounds like maf wiring, open bov, or vaccum leak... check the aicv too
