Question i have a ?

i have a 97 240sx se. it has 130k miles on it and i was wondering if i turbo it will it be to hard on the motor considering all the miles. is there anything i can do to limit the potintial damage? it is a daily driver and i would only plan to run 7psi. i need it to be dependable because it is a daily driver. thanks

If, you want it to be really dependable, then dont get a turbo, The engine should be able to handle it, but in the future you might want to consider a rebuild and maybe some forged internals, though you dont really need the internals.

how much would a rebuild cost and what does it consist of...piston rings and new gaskets?

search for the rebuild. you can do 7psi for years to come but it does shorten your engine life overall
