Exclamation I saw it w/ my own eyes! 350hp on stock internals

this post is intended for bull$h-itters like rudeboy and the rest of a- holes that post $-hit that just simple isn't true. the KA can hold over 400hp on stock internals. I've seen it, but don't take my word for it. check it out for yourself. www.back-yard-productions.com. So far the info in this forum has led me no where, and now i know why. The people claiming to know so much about the KA, are all BS'n. To all BS'ers, get yer facts straight and maybe consider posting, cuz so far, it appears that i'm the only person here that knows the true potential of my engine, the KA. And yes, the KA can produce over 400hp @20psi of boost on stock internals. Pick up a new hobby rookies, cuz you're obviously way in over your head with this one.

ok ok so how long can you boost on 20psi before you got to start replacing stuff. Sure you can boost that high but how much does it increase the wear on parts in the engine. I think most ppl mean how much your engine was built to be boosted on when they talk about stock internals. Yes I know what you are thinking and I am going to say it before you say anything. Anytime you start your engine you are wearing it out. So in conclusion, dont be haters. This is the only forum that I am apart of that is so mean to each other. Instead of saying,"Hey your a dumb@$$ and your f***ing retarded" say something like well I have seen a dyno pull that proves you can boost this high with no repercussion, and they have been boosting this high for so many miles.

Umm... well... just plain shocking.

And this is news to whom?

I don't care if you've been suckin daddy's NASCAR ratchet since you were 2... maybe daddy should have spent some of that wrenchin time raising you. If he did, you wouldn't be such a complete *** today.

lemme just say that I had a stock KA in my altima, I was getting major pinging from running 10psi and my engine internals were getting pretty bad (or so what I hear from my machinist) to the point of failure. that was only 10 psi for 2 years on a T3/4B! I had a nasty boost spike that eventually bent the tie rod in the turbo that jumped up to 15 psi, and the internals could not hold for that long! I could feel that engine starting to give way. The internals might be able to manage a t25@15psi, but not anything larger.

Sounds like he's talking about the actuator rod for the wastegate.

the CT KA's just have bad luck with turbo projects I guess (although my misfortune was completely non-boost related...).

Oh well... we still claim right to having the fastest turbo'ed 240 in new england, and cheapest turbo'ed 240, possibly in the country. Just that... neither car is running at the moment.
