Ok, Ive been thinking about engines lately, and well, this is what I came up with. From what I've read in different places, the RB26DETT has ITBs. If this is true, then it means ITBs can work with FI applications. So my question is if someone has run an ITB setup on a turbo engine like the SR or even the KA-T? I'd love to know how the KA would perform with both a turbo and ITB setup.

So i guess they do have 6 throttle bodies although not independent in that they have their own intake source from the turbo.

just because there is a throttle body for each intake runner doesn't mean there has to be 6 intake systems you just split the intake tract pre throttle body

if that's all you have to say then you have nothing worth hearing please understand a fundamental before skooling us all on how engines work

 

Mmmm, ITBs with turbo must sound dead sexy and perform well too. Sage, I say you turbo your soon to be ITBs KA, lol.

 

I know a company that makes itb's for the SR20

The GTR motor comes with itb's stock from the factory
