yeah, I use PVC cement in the joints, and I dont believe that I have any leaks ... maybe I should check, but Im going to go with metal pipe as soon as I get around to it. the PVC is great for right now

the intercooler is off of a saab, early 90s perhaps, and its the sidemount.

I think you can find them on ebay pretty cheap

jbweld is your best friend.

I went on carparts.com, i found the turbo for $75 and the intercooler for $100........at the same yard 20 miles from my house. ftrs13 i owe you HUGE lol, thanks a lot. I also located a 5-speed trans swap (complete car) for roughly $500. I decided i'll use PVC piping at first for cost and ease of install, then after i can afford it, have metal ones made. You wouldnt happen to remember the size of pvc you used do you? Last question for you is other than the previous parts, are there any you would recommend i use? like a turbo timer or boost controller? i've never actually built a turbo system before, so these parts are iffy to me. But keep in mind i'm not trying to build a state of the art system, just something i can drive around and have a few races and not have to worry about melting or blowing anything up. Once again, i owe you guys a huge thanx for helping me out and not telling me to "search the forums". when i did that i found mostly fights about which was best, but this way i know what works, thanks.

I believe its 2" inner diameter, because the next size up is 3" and its huge.

I dont have any accesorys right now, except for a boost gauge ... I just sit in my car for a few minutes after driving.

as always just done skimp on fuel management, make sure that you run it richer if you are concerned.

boost gauge and egt gauge thats all you really need just run richer if concerned let it idle a couple of minutes before you shut the engine off
(which really gets old i am still doing it) i want a turbo timer need funds though

fpr is not the best way to run rich. use an afc to run rich, but why don't you just try to run efficient. if you use a new fuel pump for about $100 from walbro with a small turbo and relatively low boost you should be fine

is 7 pounds of boost low enough for just the fuel pump? and how would i know if i'm running too lean? And if i have a fuel pressure regulator, will i be able to adjust the stock fuel pump high enough or would i still need the new one? What is your estimate for a good fuel pressure with this setup? and just to make sure, "safc" is a stand alone fuel controller? and what is a afc?...thanks for the help, i get my parts tomorrow!

air fuel controller, and yes with 370s and afc/safc I would think that the stock fuel pump would be fine, at the stock fuel pressure.

you should get some form of air fuel mixture gauge, to examine your air fuel ratio.
